Linkage Officer

HEGS Level G06 ($58,628 to $62,266 per annum)

The position is required to undertake specialist data linkage activities and specialised data analysis, extraction and geo-coding activities with the Centre for Data Linkage (CDL). The successful applicant will work with other members of the CDL team to develop a secure electronic data linkage infrastructure.

 

The position requires demonstrated skills in one or more of the following areas - statistics, mathematics or information management. Experience using relationship databases and query tools to improve processing and data quality would be well regarded.

This position is required to provide specialist advice in data linkage and to supervise other analysts within the team performing secure linkage of statistical information and to develop a secure electronic data linkage infrastructure.

The successful applicant will also be required to undertake linkage, extraction and geo-coding tasks.

 

The position requires demonstrated supervisory skills in one or more of the following areas - statistics, mathematics or information management. Experience using relationship databases and query tools for data interrogation, extraction and presentation, would be well regarded.
